RYLA Donates Flag Court to City of Roswell

The Roswell Youth Lacrosse Association is pleased to

announce the installation of a new flag court at Roswell

Area Park. A gift to the City of Roswell, the flags are

centrally located within the park, viewable from the

grandstands, as well as from the main parking lot and

adjacent playing fields.

The plaque inscription reads:

“HONOR THE GAME

Dedicated to the youth of Roswell and the Roswell

Recreation and Parks Department, in recognition of the

countless volunteers who have worked tirelessly to

further the responsible growth and the legacy of Lacrosse

within the Roswell community.

RYLA receives National Recognition!

The Roswell Youth Lacrosse Association has been chosen as one of four sports organizations

from throughout the US to receive the 2010 Honoring the Game Award. Presented by the

Positive Coaching Alliance, the award is given to schools and youth organizations that embody

PCA ideals and most innovatively promote PCA’s models of the Double-Goal Coach,

Second-Goal Parent, and Triple-Impact Competitor. Our sincere appreciation goes out to all

coaches, parents and players who have shared in our efforts to transform youth sports so
